The Golden Specific

ONE YEAR AGO, Sophia Tims and her friend Theo embarked upon a dangerous adventure that rewrote the map of the world. Since their return, Sophia has continued searching for clues to her parents' disappearance, combing archives and libraries for even the most slender leads. Theo has gone across the country to follow those leads - but each one proves to be a dead end.

Then Sophia discovers that the key to their search exists in a foreign Age. At the same time, Theo realizes that his past threatens to destroy the new life he has built with Sophia and her uncle Shadrack.
